Trust & safety

Trust is a system, not a badge.

Every review platform has to balance open expression with protections against manipulation. These are the principles guiding ours.

Genuine experiences

Reviews must describe a real interaction. An email sign-in link verifies access to the reviewer’s email address; it does not verify a purchase or the facts in a review.

Publishing reviews

Reviews submitted by email-verified accounts are published after submission checks. Publication is not an endorsement or a claim that the experience has been independently verified.

Business boundaries

An account managing a business cannot review that business. Reviewers must also confirm they do not own or work for the business they review.

Fair scoring

A business score is the arithmetic average of its published star ratings, rounded to one decimal place. Each published review counts equally, regardless of its rating or age. One review per account per business is allowed.
